How we work
Four phases and sixteen steps — from your Letter of Intent to final settlement, with booking verification before any payment.
Our transaction process is structured and transparent: you can verify the vessel booking directly with the carrier before you make any payment, cargo is inspected by SGS at loading, and the balance is paid only after the containers arrive at your port.

Payment terms
Phase 1 — Qualification and corporate agreement
Letter of Intent (LOI)
You send a formal LOI on official company letterhead, signed, stamped and recently dated, addressed to MARYTHUR LTD and stating product, quantity and destination. We can send you a sample LOI to complete.
Full Corporate Offer (FCO)
After verifying the LOI, we issue the FCO with the commercial terms, product schedule, prices and main transaction conditions.
Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order (ICPO)
After accepting the FCO, you issue an ICPO as formal written confirmation of commitment, referencing the accepted terms.
Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA)
We prepare the SPA. Both parties review it, negotiate if required and sign the final agreement that sets the legal and operational framework.
Phase 2 — Logistics and buyer verification
Vessel booking
We secure refrigerated container space with an international shipping line, departing from the Port of Paranaguá, Brazil, unless the SPA states otherwise.
Booking confirmation
We send you the official booking confirmation, including vessel and routing information and the carrier-issued confirmation document.
Independent verification
You can verify the booking directly with the carrier — vessel allocation, reefer container reservation and sailing schedule — before paying anything.
30–50% T/T deposit
Once the booking is confirmed, we issue the proforma invoice and you remit a 30–50% T/T deposit to the MARYTHUR LTD account at HSBC UK.
Phase 3 — Loading, SGS control and documents
Deposit confirmation
You send us the SWIFT transfer confirmation (MT103) of the deposit.
Cargo loading
We proceed with production allocation, cargo preparation and loading at the designated SIF plant, shipping through Paranaguá to the agreed specifications and export rules.
SGS inspection at loading
SGS inspects quality and quantity at the loading port, at the seller's cost.
Shipping documents
After loading we provide the export document set: bills of lading marked “Freight Prepaid”, packing list, commercial invoice, SGS certificate of quality and quantity, health certificate, certificate of origin, 110% marine insurance certificate and batch list.
Phase 4 — Arrival, destination inspection and settlement
Arrival at destination port
The containers arrive at your designated seaport under the contracted CIF or CFR arrangement.
SGS inspection at destination
You may have SGS inspect quality and quantity at the destination port, at the buyer's cost, subject to local procedures and the SPA.
50–70% T/T balance
You remit the remaining 50–70% balance within 15 business days of container arrival at the destination seaport, to the MARYTHUR LTD account at HSBC UK.
Completion
Once the final balance is received and the document handling agreed in the SPA is complete, the transaction is closed.
