What we collect

• Details you give us in forms, emails or WhatsApp: name, company, job title, email, phone, country, port and your enquiry
• Visit source attached to forms (UTM parameters) so we know which page or link brought your enquiry
• Technical data: IP address and browser information in server logs; analytics data only with your consent

Why we use it and our lawful basis

• To answer enquiries and prepare quotations — legitimate interests and steps before entering a contract
• To perform contracts and meet legal obligations (e.g. accounting, export controls, anti-money-laundering checks)
• To verify buyers and prevent fraud — legitimate interests
• To measure how our website is used — your consent

Sharing

We share data only where necessary: with producers, freight forwarders, inspection companies, banks and insurers involved in your order; with our IT and hosting providers (Hostinger) and email services; with Google for analytics when you consent; and with authorities where required by law.

International transfers

Some recipients (for example plants in Brazil or Mexico, or Google) are outside the UK. We rely on UK adequacy regulations, the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum, or the transfer being necessary for a contract you have requested.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept for up to 24 months. Contract and accounting records are kept for 6 years after the end of the financial year, as required by UK law.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your data, or to receive it in a portable format, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to sales@marythurfoods.com. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Form submissions are sent over HTTPS, stored in a protected location and accessible only to authorised staff.
